How long have you been in business?

What is your primary product or service?
We fund clinical research for the cure and/or prevention of Type 1 (Juvenile) diabetes
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
My sister has type 1 diabetes and my son was diagnosed at age 1. I was on the JDRF international board reviewing grants for 6 years and also worked at the Barbara Davis Center for Childhood Diabetes writing research protocols.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We are an "all volunteer" organization with a very large online presence. We are a 501(c)3 and because of our structure, very close to 100% of all donations go to research.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We have volunteers all over the world who fundraise for us, but we have no plans to go to a "brick and mortar" organization - our online presence is substantial. We get the word out through conferences held by Children With Diabetes.....annual conference in Orlando hosts 3,500 persons and is funded through corporate sponsorship.
