What is your primary product or service?
Childcare
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
My background was High School History but there were no jobs to be had so I gradually became interested in ECE. After 4 years of working in various preschools in Boulder and continuing my Education in the field, I had an excellent opportunity and opened Sunflower Preschool in 1981.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Sunflower Preschool has a unique outdoor focus as well as a hands on Science Museum. The combination of Montessori Based with a Science Emphasis helps to differentiate Sunflower from other preschools.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
One location with no plans to expand.

Sunflower Preschool is located on Dartmouth off of Broadway in South Boulder. Broadway and Table Mesa is the closest intersection.
What type of payments do you accept?
Monthly tuition paid by check.
