I have been practicing midwifery in Boulder, Colorado for 17 years, and I still say to folks, I have the best job! I love to collect teachings from around the world and often tell stories to invite a new perspective or an old way of remembering the simple beautiful blessings of each moment. I am a Certified Professional Midwife and registered to practice midwifery by the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies. I have served for 6 years on the Board of Directors for the Midwives Alliance of North America representing nine western states. I am currently serving on the Public Education Committee. Story Core for the Library of Congress on the oral history of midwives has recorded some of my stories as a teacher and midwife. I love herbs! I grow herbs and make medicine from my garden. If you are interested we can incorporate this into your care. My web designer thinks I should tell you I eat locally and can tomatoes, peaches, and applesauce the old fashion way.
