How long have you been in business?
JEMS cleaning and Janitorial was started in 2008, however all of our employees came from the cleaning industry and most have 12 or more years experience in the field/
What is your primary product or service?
Commercial cleaning service
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
In 1996 I was a stay at home mom with nothing to do while the children were in school so I took a part time cleaning job at the Rec center in town. I was taught all kinds of cleaning methods and found besides liking the work I was good at it.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
I'm a hands on owner. I personally visit each building and help in the cleaning once a week. Since we are a family owned company everyone has a stake in seeing it succeeds, so we go beyond our clients expectations when cleaning.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
we have one location for now.
What type of payments do you accept?
We have a net 30 billing cycle and accept checks.
Which areas do you service?
We service Boulder county and the surrounding areas.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
Joyce Jones is the owner.
What are your hours of operation?
we are open 7 am to 6 pm Monday thru Friday
What is the best compliment anyone can give you?
We see various cleaning supplies in our clients offices and cubical s when we first start. When we start seeing those disappear its a big compliment.
What is your favorite quote or Bible verse?
The difference between ordinary and extraordinary is just a little extra. That's what you get with JEMS all the little extras.
