It is the mission of the Humane Society of Boulder Valley to protect and enhance the lives of companion animals by promoting healthy relationships between pets and people. As a shelter, our first priority is care of homeless or neglected animals. We focus on an adoption process that is simple and rewarding. In addition, we commit resources to humane education for children and adults. Programs such as the Pet Care Cruiser, our mobile adoption and education unit, bring our work into the community.
